Job Description: Technical Manager – Fit-OutJob Summary

The Technical Manager – Fit-Out is responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing all technical aspects of interior fit-out projects. The role ensures projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory standards while coordinating with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the technical execution of commercial, residential, retail, and hospitality fit-out projects.
• Review and coordinate architectural, structural, MEP, and shop drawings.
• Lead the technical team and provide guidance to engineers and site staff.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers to resolve technical issues.
• Ensure all drawings, material submittals, RFIs, and method statements are submitted and approved on time.
• Monitor project progress and ensure compliance with project schedules and budgets.
• Conduct technical reviews, value engineering, and constructability assessments.
• Ensure compliance with local authority regulations, project specifications, and quality standards.
• Support procurement by reviewing technical specifications and approving materials.
• Identify project risks and implement mitigation plans.
• Attend client and project coordination meetings and prepare technical reports.
• Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental (HSE) requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
• 8–12 years of experience in interior fit-out projects, with at least 3 years in a technical management role.
• Strong knowledge of interior fit-out construction, finishes, joinery, and MEP coordination.
• Experience managing commercial, hospitality, retail, or residential fit-out projects.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit (preferred), Microsoft Project, and MS Office.
• Strong understanding of UAE/GCC building regulations and authority approvals.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• PMP certification is an advantage.
• Experience with BIM coordination is preferred.
• UAE/GCC experience is highly desirable.

Pay: AED7,806.95 - AED26,635.88 per month
