Job Title: Electrical Engineer – High-Rise Building Projects

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electrical Engineer with experience in high-rise building construction to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design review, site coordination, installation supervision, testing, commissioning, and quality control of electrical systems for residential, commercial, and mixed-use high-rise developments.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate electrical works on high-rise building projects.

Review electrical drawings, specifications, and shop drawings.

Ensure electrical installations comply with project requirements, local codes, and safety standards.

Coordinate with consultants, contractors, architects, and MEP teams.

Monitor project progress and ensure work is completed according to schedule.

Conduct inspections, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems.

Prepare technical reports, RFIs, method statements, and progress updates.

Resolve technical issues and provide engineering support during construction.

Ensure compliance with quality assurance and health & safety requirements.

Assist in project handover and documentation.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.

Minimum 3–5 years of experience in high-rise building construction projects.

Strong knowledge of electrical distribution systems, lighting, power, fire alarm, ELV, and emergency systems.

Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office. Experience with Revit/BIM is an advantage.

Excellent knowledge of electrical codes and construction standards.

Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work in a fast-paced construction environment.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with residential, commercial, or mixed-use tower projects.

Professional Engineer certification or equivalent is an advantage.

UAE/GCC experience is preferred.

Preferred Skills

Good knowledge of electrical systems and building services.

Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office (especially MS Excel).

Ability to read and understand electrical drawings and specifications.

Good documentation and reporting skills.

Knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and safety requirements.

Experience in testing, inspection, and commissioning of electrical systems.

Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

Strong communication and coordination skills.

Good organizational and time management skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
