Site Engineer Facade

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate daily façade installation works, including curtain walls, aluminium doors and windows, cladding, skylights, louvers, and other façade systems.
• Review shop drawings, method statements, and project specifications before commencing site activities.
• Plan daily work activities and allocate manpower, equipment, and materials efficiently.
• Monitor installation progress to ensure compliance with project schedules and milestones.
• Coordinate with the Project Manager, Site Supervisor, Foremen, Production, Procurement, and Logistics teams to ensure timely material deliveries and resource availability.
• Conduct site measurements and verify dimensions prior to installation.
• Ensure installation works comply with approved drawings, quality standards, contract specifications, and client requirements.
• Coordinate inspections with the QA/QC team and consultants, and promptly rectify any non-conformities or defects.
• Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly site progress reports.
• Attend site coordination meetings with clients, consultants, contractors, and subcontractors.
• Identify site constraints, technical issues, and risks, and implement corrective actions to prevent project delays.
• Monitor material usage and report shortages, damages, or wastage.
• Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations and company policies.
• Verify completed work for subcontractors and installation teams before submitting for inspection.
• Assist in preparing inspection requests (IRs), work inspection requests (WIRs), material inspection requests (MIRs), snag lists, and project handover documentation.
• Maintain accurate records of site activities, labour productivity, material consumption, and installation progress.
• Support project completion, testing, final inspections, snag rectification, and project handover activities.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
• 3–5 years of experience as a Site Engineer in the façade, aluminium, glazing, or construction industry, preferably with GCC experience.
• Strong knowledge of curtain wall, cladding, aluminium doors and windows, skylights, and other façade systems.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, shop drawings, and technical specifications.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and project management software; knowledge of MS Project is an advantage.
• Strong technical, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple site activities and work under pressure to meet project deadlines.
• Familiarity with UAE construction regulations and HSE requirements.
• Valid UAE Driving License is preferred.
