GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB

To take a leadership role in proactively developing and winning new business for Manhattan Associates primarily in France.  This is a stand-alone role and the successful candidate will be responsible for the development and execution of Manhattan sales plan.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibility for the full sales cycle including; opportunity qualification, co-ordination and management of all resources required to sell, corporate sales methodology and processes, the decision–making process, contract negotiation and sales closure

This will include:

Driving the development and execution of the sales plan, including appropriate market development and account sales strategies.

The territory is primarily France, but assignment to accounts outside of France is possible.

Building and managing strong relationships with key stakeholders and counterparts within the business

Developing a deep knowledge of potential prospect’s businesses (including economic drivers, opportunities and priorities) in order to articulate the value proposition of Manhattan products and services

Understanding competitor offerings and positioning in order to differentiate Manhattan products and services

Working closely with other departments in order to ensure seamless post-sales / implementation handover and documentation
