Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Inspector - Sewerage to join our team in Al Ain, United Arab Emirates. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive inspections of sewerage systems, identifying maintenance needs, and ensuring compliance with local regulations and industry standards. You will play a critical role in maintaining the integrity and efficiency of our sewerage infrastructure while upholding the highest standards of safety and professionalism.

  • Conduct routine, preventive, and emergency inspections of sewerage lines, treatment facilities, and related infrastructure
  • Operate and maintain specialized inspection equipment, including CCTV cameras, flow meters, and sampling devices
  • Document inspection findings in detailed reports, including photographs, measurements, and observations
  • Analyze inspection data to identify defects, blockages, structural issues, and maintenance requirements
  • Prepare comprehensive inspection reports and recommendations for repairs or upgrades
  • Ensure all inspection activities comply with UAE sewerage regulations, safety protocols, and organizational standards
  • Investigate customer complaints and service requests related to sewerage systems
  • Collaborate with maintenance and repair teams to address identified issues in a timely manner
  • Maintain accurate records of all inspections, equipment calibrations, and maintenance activities
  • Perform water quality testing and sampling as required
  • Adhere to all health, safety, and environmental regulations during field operations
  • Communicate findings and recommendations to supervisors and relevant stakeholders

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in sewerage system inspection or related infrastructure maintenance
  • Strong knowledge of sewerage systems, treatment processes, and municipal infrastructure
  • Proficiency in operating inspection equipment such as CCTV cameras and flow measurement devices
  • Excellent report writing and documentation skills
  • Solid understanding of UAE sewerage regulations and industry standards
  • Ability to analyze technical data and identify system defects or anomalies
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Proficiency in using computer systems and inspection software
  • Valid driver's license and ability to work in field conditions
  • Physical capability to perform fieldwork and access confined spaces (with proper safety protocols)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to safety and compliance standards

**Preferred Qualifications:**

  • Experience with GIS mapping software or CAD applications
  • Knowledge of water quality testing and analysis
  • Supervisory or team leadership experience
  • Certification in sewerage system inspection or related technical field
  • Experience with automated inspection systems or data management platforms
