Event Management Coordinator

A Day in the Life The Event Management team is a professional business partner for internal & external customers. As part of the Event Management team, your goal is to guide our customers, within the multinational company of Medtronic, by working with high administrative requirements and by offering high quality support in a pro-active and efficient way. The challenge is getting the requests fulfilled for the customers by setting the right priorities and getting the data from your business partner(s) on time. Our department mission is to connect colleagues & processes in which delivering service is essential.

You are part of the Event Management Team. Every day you will start up your email and see if you have received new event requests or missing documents/information for your ongoing events. As a Coordinator you will work on an average of 12 events at the same time per person. You will work effectively and efficiently within a complex matrix organization, in an environment where priority changes occur. This may result in working on process improvement activities with the team.

Job Description

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

Setting up events in our system (Cvent)

Act as the main contact person for the event for the internal requester and Health Care Professionals who are invited to the different events and trainings

Divide the new requests that came in, which you will divide before lunch and come together with your team members

Answer urgent questions and particularities

Attend meetings with our colleagues for the sales departments regarding new requests/events

Act as an ambassador for Medtronic in general and the Benelux Sales Office specific

Ensure to be compliant with standard Medtronic policies, quality & regulatory procedures, Environment Health Safety & Security rules, Code of Conduct, Household Rules and Core Behaviours

Required Knowledge and Experience

An MBO+ or HBO level of working and thinking

Fluent in Dutch and English; in our team we speak Dutch on a daily basis combined with excellent communication skills in a matrix & complex environment

Cope with stress, work under pressure, work independently and proactive within a team

Computer literacy (MS-Office and preferably SAP/ ERP, Salesforce Lighting, Cvent, One note)

Quick learner and can manage several tasks and project at once, it’s no problem for you

  Pay range / Rango salarial / Intervalo salarial /Fascia retributiva / Tranche de salaire / Gehaltsband / Salaribereik:  Netherlands: 38,720.00 EUR - 58,080.00 EUR |    This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP).
