Coupled with partnerships within the DBS network and with global institutions, we strive to build long-term relationships with our Private Banking clients in Asia by providing them with high quality, timely and extensive wealth management, investment and financial solutions.

The Managed Solutions Governance team is responsible of implementing a robust governance framework and provides oversight over the end-to-end activities across all Managed Solutions in scope, such as Discretionary Mandates, Alternative Investments, Family Offices, Private Trusts, etc. 

Responsibilities

As a member of the Managed Solutions Governance team, you will:

• Perform regular validations and verifications over activities in scope, ensuring compliance with internal policies, regulations and bank’s risk appetite.

• Identify emerging & operational risks from thematic reviews and control checks

• Support in the design and reviews of governance frameworks in consultation with key stakeholders in the first and second lines.

• Ensure that Product teams apply best practices on their daily activities seeking approvals where required.

 Requirements

• Degree in Banking, Finance, Accountancy or a related discipline.

• At least 5 years of relevant experience in a similar governance or product function in banking or asset management.

• Product knowledge in Alternative Investments or Wealth Planning would be an advantage.

• Strong execution skills, accountability and competence in risks & controls.

• Ability to develop dashboards and statistical models to implement a strong governance framework.

• Ability to communicate effectively with all level of stakeholders.
