Sales Manager (d/f/m) – Consumer Tissue and Personal Care

We are searching for a Sales Manager responsible for delivering agreed financial targets by leading, directing and managing sales activities for Consumer Tissue and Personal Care business in Switzerland as soon as possible.

Your Role

Lead the Switzerland Sales function for the Consumer Tissue and Personal Care divisions, reporting to the Commercial Director Italy & Switzerland, with leadership responsibility for a team of 2 sales professionals and direct accountability for the Migros customer account

Define, implement, and execute the sales strategy aligned with business objectives and Go-to-Market plans by setting sales targets, directing resource allocation, optimizing customer segmentation and prioritization, and driving overall sales performance

Own full country and customers profitability (P&L) and deliver financial targets through optimal resource deployment, sales forecasting and budgeting, revenue growth initiatives, profitability improvement plans, and a strong Net Revenue Management approach

Lead and develop customer and commercial plans by supporting and coordinating the sales team in annual agreement negotiations, listing and assortment planning, promotional activities, and by building strong relationships with strategic customers and key opinion leaders to ensure customer satisfaction and sustainable profitable growth

Monitor, analyze, and communicate business performance by tracking sales volumes, revenues, costs, market developments, customer needs, and competitor activities; identifying risks and opportunities; adapting plans accordingly and presenting strategies, forecasts, and results to local and regional senior management

Act as the key commercial leader for Switzerland, coordinating cross-functional collaboration across Customer Marketing, Marketing, Controlling, Customer Service, Demand Planning, and manufacturing sites; driving continuous improvement, challenging the status quo, and leading the development of the sales organization’s structure, talent, and capabilities

Relevant Industry experience: at least 7-10 years of proven successful experience within Top FMCG companies 

Strong negotiation skills

Strong collaboration, communication and influencing skills 

Commercial and business acumen, strategic/holistic thinking and proven ability to manage complex tasks within a matrix organization 

Value creation mentality & financial acumen 

Team leadership responsibility experience and result orientation 

Deep Knowledge of Swiss Retailers landscape and specificities 

Fluency in German and English are a must
