Job description

Role Summary:

As a QA Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through the planning and execution of manual and automated tests. Your role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand requirements, create test plans, and implement manual and automated testing solutions.

Responsibilities:

· Design and execute test strategies, test plans, and test cases based on business and technical requirements

· Perform functional, integration, regression, and performance testing to validate product quality

· Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright

· Conduct API testing using Postman

· Perform performance testing using tools such as JMeter, k6, or similar solutions

· Analyze test results, identify root causes, and collaborate with development teams to resolve issues

· Participate in Agile Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives

· Work closely with developers, product owners, and stakeholders to ensure comprehensive test coverage and early detection

· Continuously assess and enhance testing practices, tools, and automation frameworks

· Collaborate with the QA team and QA Lead to share knowledge and foster a culture of continuous improvement

Qualifications and Experience:

· Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field

· Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a QA Engineer or QA Automation role

· Proven experience with test automation tools, particularly Selenium, Cypress, and Playwright

· Hands-on experience in API testing using Postman

· Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter, k6, or similar

· Strong understanding of Agile Scrum methodologies and experience working in Agile teams Familiarity with test management and defect tracking tools such as Jira

· Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills

· Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment

· Enthusiastic about contributing to the company’s mission and culture
