Data Center Technician (m/f/d)

For our client we are currently filling the following position:

Responsibilities

• Install, cable, and deploy servers, switches, and hardware components in data center racks
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, server, and networking issues
• Monitor data center infrastructure to ensure operational stability and uptime
• Perform maintenance activities and support infrastructure changes
• Manage and resolve incidents and support tickets within defined SLAs
• Coordinate external vendors, contractors, and hardware suppliers on-site
• Maintain documentation, inventory records, and operational reports
• Participate in shift operations, on-call rotations, and incident response activities

Your Profile

• Technical education or certifications in IT, Electronics, Engineering, or related fields
• Experience in data center operations, IT support, or technical environments preferred
• Basic knowledge of server hardware, networking, and data center infrastructure
• Familiarity with Linux and/or Windows operating systems
• Experience working with ticketing systems and support processes
• Ability to troubleshoot technical and hardware-related issues independently
• Strong teamwork, communication skills, and hands-on mentality
• Willingness to work shifts and follow operational and safety procedures
• Fluent German skills (minimum B2 level)
