Helper, Piping

Assist pipe fitters and welders during piping fabrication, installation, and erection activities.

Support in handling, shifting, loading, and unloading of pipes, fittings, valves, and piping materials.

Assist in pipe alignment, fit-up, preparation, and installation activities as instructed by the Foreman.

Carry out basic tasks such as cleaning, grinding, cutting assistance, deburring, and material preparation.

Assist in installation of pipe supports, clamps, brackets, and other piping components.

Prepare work areas, tools, and materials required for daily piping activities.

Support rigging activities during movement and positioning of piping materials.

Maintain proper housekeeping at the work location and ensure safe access around work areas.

Assist in dismantling and reinstatement activities during piping modifications or maintenance works.

Support hydrotesting, flushing, and other pre-commissioning activities as required.

Ensure correct handling and storage of piping materials to prevent damage.

Operate hand tools safely under the guidance of skilled personnel.

Follow instructions from the Piping Foreman and support the team in completing assigned tasks.

Basic education or vocational training preferred.

Basic knowledge of mechanical/piping work is an advantage.

Minimum 1–3 years of experience as a Piping Helper in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Refinery, or EPC projects.

Previous experience supporting pipe fitters and welders is preferred.

Willingness to work in remote locations as required.

Ability to use hand and power tools safely.

Must be able to work in outdoor environments under varying weather conditions.

Strong problem-solving and teamwork abilities.

Effective communication skills.
