The Role:

A Senior Deal Desk professional serves as a strategic advisor and subject matter expert who manages complex sales transactions, ensures deal compliance, and optimizes the quote-to-cash process while supporting negotiations between TrendAI, customers, and the channel. This role combines operational excellence with strategic deal structuring to accelerate sales closure while maintaining company policies and revenue recognition standards.

Key Responsibilities

Support the Field Sales Organization and Sales Operations team in driving ARR retention at scale through execution of the following:

Act as a business partner to the sales team in developing strategies and contract negotiations for complex deals

Review and structure non-standard deals, multi-year agreements, and enterprise-level transactions

Provide strategic guidance on alternative contract options and value propositions to drive deal closure

Play a key role in complex deal reviews and serve as escalation point for challenging transactions

Operational Excellence:

Review and validate sales quotes for accuracy in pricing, SKUs, billing logic, and contract terms

Ensure compliance with revenue recognition rules, company policies, and regulatory requirements

Manage deal approval processes

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Partner with Legal, Finance, Revenue Operations, and Sales Operations teams

Serve as liaison between Sales, Finance and Legal for contract compliance

Collaborate with billing teams on subscription management and license delivery

Support sales forecasting calls, QBRs, and end-of-quarter activities

Process Improvement & Training

Delivery of training to sales representatives on deal desk processes, tools, and policies

Identify and implement process automation opportunities

Mentor new team members to the CEC dept.

Analyze deal patterns to identify opportunities for process improvements and new routes to market.

Qualifications:

5+ years of experience in Deal Desk, Sales, Sales Operations, Finance Operations, or related roles

Proven success in Enterprise SaaS/B2B environments

Experience with direct and channel sales models

Track record of managing complex, high-value transactions

Strong expertise in CRM systems (Microsoft Dynamics preferred), sales analytics, and reporting tools (Excel, Tableau, Power BI, or similar). Experience with contract analysis and legal term interpretation

Ability to influence and partner with senior sales leaders and cross-functional stakeholders.

Knowledge of subscription billing models and license management
