Position: Commercial Excellence & Trade Marketing Lead
Reporting to: ASEA Trade & Revenue Management Head
Primary Location: Singapore
Alternate Location: Jakarta, Indonesia

Our Team:
You will be part of the ASEA Trade Marketing & Revenue Growth Management team, reporting directly to the Regional Trade Marketing & Revenue Head.

Main responsibilities:
The Commercial Excellence & Trade Marketing Lead ASEA plays a critical role in translating the regional commercial strategy into flawless execution across ASEA. This role drives commercial excellence initiatives, ensures launch readiness for the innovation pipeline, and oversees Trade Marketing execution in Indonesia.
The role serves as the operational engine of the regional commercial organization, connecting Strategy, Trade Marketing, Revenue Growth Management, Brand and Country teams to ensure priorities are executed consistently and deliver business impact. In parallel, the role directly supervises Trade Marketing execution across Indonesia, ensuring excellence in both Modern Trade and General Trade.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Drive Commercial Excellence Across ASEA
Translate regional commercial priorities into clear execution plans across all ASEA markets.
Lead deployment and adoption of regional commercial excellence initiatives, including execution standards, category management, commercial capabilities and new ways of working.
Ensure consistent implementation of OWN IT principles, execution fundamentals and commercial standards across G1 markets while supporting deployment into G2 markets.
Coordinate cross-functional initiatives involving Trade Marketing, RGM, Brand, Regulatory and Supply to ensure seamless execution.
Monitor execution quality across markets, identifying risks and driving corrective actions to improve commercial performance.
- Lead Commercial Readiness for Innovation
Drive commercial readiness for the regional innovation pipeline, ensuring markets are prepared to successfully launch new products commercially speaking.
Promote and encourage cross-functional launch planning within TRM and the other areas: Brand & Innovation, and Commercial teams.
Assess current process, identify opportunities and optimize process definition to ensure commercial excellence is embedded in the end-to-end process.
Track and influence the readiness of all commercial launch deliverables, including:
Sales stories and customer presentations
Sell-in materials
Launch playbooks
Commercial guidelines
Planogram recommendations
POSM readiness
Field communication and training
Track launch readiness milestones and proactively resolve execution gaps.
Monitor launch performance, distribution, availability and execution quality to maximize successful commercialization.
- Lead Indonesia Trade Marketing Execution
Provide functional leadership to the Indonesia Trade Marketing team across Modern Trade and General Trade.
Ensure strong execution of commercial priorities, promotional plans, visibility initiatives and customer activation programs.
Coach and develop the Indonesia Trade Marketing team while driving accountability for execution excellence.
Partner closely with the Indonesia Country Head, Sales and Marketing teams to maximize in-market execution.
Monitor KPIs, including: execution quality, visibility, OSA, planogram compliance and promotional effectiveness, driving continuous improvement.
- Drive Commercial Governance & Capability
Lead regional commercial performance tracking, governance routines and leadership reporting.
Consolidate monthly commercial performance reviews and prepare materials for regional leadership meetings.
Identify performance gaps and recommend actions to accelerate execution.
Coordinate regional project tracking across strategic initiatives to ensure milestones are delivered.
Support deployment of commercial capability programs, tools and training across ASEA.
Act as the key liaison between ASEA and AMEA Commercial Excellence teams, ensuring regional frameworks are effectively implemented and market feedback is incorporated.
About You
Experience
5-7 years of experience in Trade Marketing, Commercial Excellence, Revenue Growth Management or related commercial roles.
Experience leading cross-functional projects across multiple markets.
Previous people’s management experience preferred.
Experience in FMCG or Consumer Healthcare preferred.
Strong understanding of commercial execution, customer activation and launch excellence.
