Role Purpose

We are seeking a D365 Technical Application Support Specialist to support the Microsoft Dynamics 365 (Project Operations & Project Sales) platform post go-live. This role focuses on system support, stabilisation, and continuous improvement in a highly customised and integrated enterprise environment. The role will ensure the platform remains stable, secure, and aligned with evolving business needs.

Key Responsibilities

Provide L2/L3 technical support for Microsoft Dynamics 365, including incident management and troubleshooting

Support and maintain customisations including Power Apps, Power Automate, plugins, JavaScript, C#, and Azure Function Apps

Investigate and resolve integration issues across enterprise systems (e.g. SAP S/4HANA, Workday)

Manage D365 security roles, access control, and authorisation matrix

Support release, deployment, and environment management including post-deployment validation

Perform root cause analysis and implement preventive fixes

Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and post-go-live stabilisation (hypercare)

Monitor system performance and ensure platform reliability and optimisation

Work with vendors and internal IT teams to deliver fixes, enhancements, and improvements

Maintain documentation, system configurations, and knowledge base

Key Skills & Experience

Hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (Customer Engagement / Project Operations preferred)

Strong understanding of D365 architecture, configuration, and customisation

Experience with Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate)

Technical skills in C#, .NET, JavaScript, and Azure

Experience supporting integrated enterprise systems

Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline

At least 3 years of experience in D365 technical support, development, or implementation roles

Strong technical foundation in enterprise applications or software development

Experience working in post-go-live support / application support environments

Microsoft Dynamics 365 or Power Platform certifications preferred

Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of formal qualifications
