Job description

Do you want to work at the intersection of product development and manufacturing, where innovative technology is turned into scalable, real-world solutions?

We are looking for a Manufacturing Engineer to help industrialize advanced autonomous charging systems. In this role, you ensure new products move smoothly from development into reliable, high-quality production — with a strong focus on manufacturability, quality, and collaboration.

You will join an international, multidisciplinary scale-up where people work closely together, learn continuously, and improve step by step. We value different perspectives and believe they make both our products and our teams stronger.

Who we are

We are a fast-growing high-tech company with a clear mission: accelerating the transition to sustainable mobility through hands-free charging technology.

By combining soft robotics, computer vision, and software, we build reliable solutions that make fleet electrification easier and more scalable.

Our headquarters are in the Netherlands, with a team in Portland (US).

Together, we are building a cleaner future.

You make the difference

Rocsys relies on your contribution to the product introduction and manufacturing process on technical, process and / or design level. You help delivering new products to the market and maintain their Manufacturing process along with the complete product lifecycle. You contribute to a quality and LEAN focused culture.

The ultimate goal is to conceptualize, design and industrialize (together with other departments within Rocsys) products or Manufacturing lines that fulfill the strategic goals of the company. While having a constant focus on the best output quality possible, you assure our products are always up to defined specifications.

In this role you will

As Manufacturing Engineer, you play a key role in translating product designs into scalable and stable production processes. You work closely with R&D, Quality, and Process Engineering to ensure successful industrialization of new products throughout their lifecycle.

You help shape a strong culture of quality, safety, and continuous improvement, contributing directly to making products robust, manufacturable, and ready for scale.

In this role, you lead Design for Assembly (DFA) reviews and drive improvement actions, develop and optimize manufacturing tooling and assembly solutions, and support the design and implementation of production lines and workflows. You also ensure tooling quality and compliance with relevant standards through structured audits and reviews.
