At ViCentra, we’re on a mission to make living with diabetes easier, by designing simple, beautiful, and effective solutions that fit people’s lives, not the other way around. We combine technological innovation with human-centered design to empower people with more freedom, confidence, and life on their terms. Our values; Be Bold, Build Trust, Focus on the Customer and Deliver Excellence drive everything we create and every decision we make.

We believe that when ambition meets purpose, remarkable things happen. If you thrive in a space where ideas accelerate, challenges spark growth, and making a difference is the goal, ViCentra is your next great adventure. 🚀

đź‘©đź’» Your Impact

As a Cost Controller, you will play a critical role in strengthening the financial backbone of our operations. You’ll provide the insights that drive smarter decisions across manufacturing, pricing, and operational efficiency. By ensuring accurate cost data and identifying opportunities for improvement, your work will directly influence profitability, scalability, and our ability to deliver high-quality products to customers.

What makes this role truly impactful is the opportunity to shape and elevate our finance operations. We are in a dynamic growth phase, where processes and structures are still evolving. This means you won’t just work within the system, you’ll help build it. You’ll bring clarity where there is complexity, create structure where needed, and introduce best practices that enable the business to scale with confidence.

If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, enjoy bringing order to ambiguity, and take pride in turning challenges into improvements, this role offers a unique chance to leave a lasting mark — not only on our financial performance, but on how we operate as a whole. ✨

🔧 What You’ll Take On

In your role, you will:

Analyze and report on product costs, including materials, labour, and overhead, to support informed decision-making

Maintain and update standard costing models and bill of materials (BOM) to ensure data accuracy

Perform monthly variance analysis (standard vs. actuals, budget vs. forecast) and translate findings into actionable insights

Investigate discrepancies and recommend cost optimization initiatives in partnership with Operations

Support month-end close activities, including journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations

Manage inventory accounting processes, including obsolescence provisioning and subledger reconciliation

Contribute to budgeting and forecasting processes for manufacturing and operational costs

Ensure accuracy and integrity of costing within ERP systems while driving continuous process improvements

Support internal and external audits with clear and compliant documentation

Act as a trusted business partner between Finance and Operations, identifying efficiency opportunities and supporting strategic initiatives

Requirements: 📌 What You Bring

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, with 3–5 years of relevant cost accounting experience (ideally in a manufacturing environment)

Strong knowledge of cost accounting principles, including standard costing, variance analysis, and inventory valuation

Hands-on experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills

Proven analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving capabilities and attention to detail

Ability to translate financial data into clear, actionable insights for non-finance stakeholders

Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the confidence to partner across Finance and Operations

A proactive, structured, and solution-oriented approach, with a continuous improvement mindset

Nice to have:

Professional qualification (ACA, ACCA, CPA) or progress toward one

Experience in a regulated or medical device manufacturing environment

Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) or continuous improvement methodologies
