Data Engineering Intern

Metyis is growing! We are looking for a Data Engineering Intern to join our Data and Analytics team, in Amsterdam. As a Data Engineering Intern, you will be involved in turning our clients´ business into a more data-driven one.

What you will do

Assisting in the design, development, and maintenance of data pipelines to extract, transform and load data from various sources.

Helping with data warehousing and data modelling activities.

Participating in the creation of data-driven solutions to support business needs.

Collaborating with data scientists, business analysts and software engineers to understand and implement data requirements.

Implementing data quality and data governance processes.

Participating in code reviews and providing constructive feedback.

Staying up to date with the latest developments in data engineering technologies and best practices.

What you’ll bring

Pursuing a degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.

Strong programming skills in one or more programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work well in a team environment.

Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Passion for Data: A strong interest in data and technology, and a desire to learn and grow as a data engineer.
