POSITION: Tool Keeper DEPARTMENT: TS – MSS EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Work Visa DUTY HOURS: 08 Hours per Day | 6 Days per Week LOCATION: As per Project / Site Requirement SALARY: SAR 1,800 + FAT (Food, Accommodation, Transportation)

JOB SUMMARY

The Tool Keeper is responsible for managing the control, storage, issuance, and maintenance of tools and equipment used in maintenance activities. The role ensures tools are available, in good condition, and compliant with SABIC standards to support smooth operations.

Requirements: KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Inventory Control & Issuance Receive, store, and issue tools and consumables while maintaining accurate inventory logs. Ensure all items are properly accounted for, tracked, and available when needed by maintenance teams.

  2. Tool Inspection Check tools for serviceability, cleanliness, and safety before and after use. Identify damaged, worn-out, or unsafe tools and remove them from service.

  3. Maintenance & Calibration Ensure tools are repaired, maintained, and calibrated according to schedule. Coordinate with technical teams or vendors for specialized repairs and certification.

  4. Organization & Labeling Maintain a well-organized tool room and storage areas with proper labeling for easy access. Implement systematic storage procedures to minimize loss or misplacement of tools.

  5. Operational Support Provide timely and reliable tool support during regular maintenance, shutdowns, or emergency operations. Prioritize requests to ensure smooth workflow and minimal downtime for maintenance activities.

QUALIFICATION &

Education: High school diploma, ITI certificate, or equivalent technical education.

Knowledge: Understanding of maintenance tools and equipment, with basic computer skills for inventory tracking.
