Senior Estimator

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate cost estimates for civil, fit-out, and multi-disciplinary construction projects.

• Analyze project specifications, drawings, and BOQs to determine material, labor, and equipment requirements.

• Develop competitive tender submissions and pricing strategies aligned with company objectives.

• Coordinate with procurement and planning teams to ensure cost optimization and resource alignment.

• Implement digital estimation tools and maintain updated cost databases.

• Conduct risk analysis and identify cost-saving opportunities during the bidding process.

• Ensure compliance with company policies, contractual obligations, and UAE regulations.

• Prepare detailed cost breakdowns, cash flow forecasts, and value engineering proposals.

• Monitor market trends, material prices, and labor rates to maintain competitive advantage.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field.

Professional certifications such as RICS, MRICS, or FIDIC training are highly preferred.

Experience

Minimum 10 years of experience in a contracting company, with strong exposure to both estimation and QS functions.

Proven track record preparing estimates and managing commercial aspects of medium to large-scale projects.

Strong understanding of construction methodologies, project execution, and commercial frameworks.

Experience in UAE/GCC contracting industry is a strong advantage
