Site Engineer

Job description:

Nomad Interiors is currently seeking a motivated and experienced Site Engineer / Project Engineer to join our team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate should have solid experience in the construction industry, strong technical knowledge, and the ability to coordinate effectively with project teams, consultants, and subcontractors to ensure the successful delivery of projects.

The successful candidate should be capable of managing multiple tasks, solving on-site challenges, and working independently with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate on-site construction activities.
• Ensure work is carried out according to project specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations.
• Coordinate with project teams, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project execution.
• Monitor project progress and resolve site-related issues efficiently.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation and reports.
• Assist in project planning, scheduling, and resource management.
• Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum of 2 years of UAE experience in a contracting or construction company.
• Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, materials, and industry standards.
• Proficiency in project planning and management software (Primavera or equivalent is an advantage).
• Excellent communication, coordination, and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Requirements

• Willing to work on-site in Abu Dhabi.
• Reliable transportation or willingness to relocate before joining.
• Fluent in English.
