The Geneva Graduate Institute’s Centre for Finance
and Development is recruiting a
STUDENT COLLABORATOR IN CHARGE OF DIGITAL COMMUNICATION (F/M/D)
APPLICATION DEADLINE: July 26th, 2026
DURATION: Fixed-term contract from September 1st, 2026 to September 30th, 2027 (13 months)
ACTIVITY RATE: 15 hours per week (37.5%)
The Centre for Finance and Development (CFD) is the Geneva Graduate Institute's Centre of Excellence for research and dialogue on impact investing, sustainable finance and multilateral development finance, advancing both academic debates and practical solutions to shape the global financial landscape.
RESPONSIBLITIES AND TASKS
The CFD is looking for an enthusiastic and structured Student Collaborator for digital communication of its activities and its MAS in Sustainable Finance, Impact Investing and Development. Under the lead of the CFD Director and Coordinator, the Student Collaborator will:
- Enhance communication campaigns and managing the CFD and MAS social media posts (LinkedIn and Facebook) and websites.
- Create a CFD newsletter.
- Write articles and create brochures on demand (news, events/panel summary, ).
- Manage invitations on Mailchimp and hybrid/online events on WebEx.
- Support fundraising
- Manage other administrative tasks, ie. helping with events (organisation, logistics, assistance, etc).
- Strengthen the CFD and MAS outreach towards international organisations, organisations located at Maison de la paix, Swiss academic partners, the City and Canton of Geneva, the private sector,
CANDIDATE’S PROFILE
Successful candidates will combine a preponderance of the following requirements:
- Currently enrolled in a Master’s or PhD programme, with a strong interest in sustainability, sustainable finance and development.
- Academic background in Economics, Finance, Development studies or related fields is an asset.
- Initial experience or strong interest in digital communication.
- Highly organized, proactive, and able to manage tasks independently.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English, with a strong interest in content writing.
- Eligible to work in Switzerland
