Finishing Works Engineer

The Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented Finishing Works Engineer to join our dynamic construction team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will oversee and ensure the quality and timely completion of all finishing works on our projects, contributing to the delivery of high-quality construction outcomes that meet client expectations.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage all finishing works including plastering, painting, flooring, tiling, and other final touches on construction sites.

• Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth workflow and timely delivery of materials.

• Inspect work at various stages to ensure compliance with design specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations.

• Prepare and maintain detailed reports on progress, quality issues, and any deviations from project plans.

• Resolve technical issues related to finishing works and propose effective solutions.

• Ensure adherence to health and safety policies on site.

• Assist in planning and scheduling finishing activities to optimize resource utilization and minimize delays. Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.

• Proven experience as a Finishing Works Engineer or similar role in the construction industry.

• Strong knowledge of finishing materials, techniques, and quality standards.

• Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to coordinate multiple teams.

• Familiarity with local construction codes and safety regulations in the UAE.

• Problem-solving mindset and attention to detail.

• Ability to work under pressure and manage time effectively to meet project deadlines.

• Proficiency in relevant software tools and MS Office applications.
