Job Purpose:
The E‑House Electrical Engineer to lead the electrical design, equipment integration, and engineering execution for prefabricated Electrical Houses (E-Houses) and packaged modular substations. You will be responsible for developing electrical layouts, sizing components, ensuring system protection, and ensuring full compliance with international standards and client specifications.
Roles & Responsibilities:
1.Electrical Design & Engineering:
- System Design: Develop and review Single Line Diagrams (SLDs), schematic diagrams, three-line diagrams, and control/wiring schedules for MV (Medium Voltage) and LV (Low Voltage) systems.
- Electrical Calculations: Perform critical engineering calculations CT/VT calculation, cable sizing, voltage drop, earthing/grounding grid design, and indoor/outdoor lighting sizing.
- Equipment Integration: Manage the spatial and electrical integration of core equipment inside the E-House, including MV/LV switchgear, transformers, Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), UPS systems, and DC distribution boards.
- Interlocking & Logic: Design electrical interlocking schemes, protection matrices, and cause-and-effect logic for safe substation operations.
2.Layout & Cable Management:
- Equipment Layouts: Optimize the internal equipment footprint to ensure safe maintenance clearances, egress paths, and structural weight distribution.
- Cable Routing: Design comprehensive cable tray, ladder, and trench routing layouts, ensuring proper segregation between power, control, and instrumentation cables.
3.Standards, Compliance & Testing:
- Compliance: Ensure all electrical designs comply strictly with international engineering standards (such as IEC 62271-202 for prefabricated substations, IEEE, and NEC) as well as local utility regulations.
