About the Role

We are looking for a BIM Modeler to join a leading MEP contracting team in Dubai. The successful candidate will support engineering and project teams by developing high-quality BIM models, participating in coordination activities, and ensuring accurate digital delivery across major construction projects. The role offers excellent exposure to complex developments including data centres, commercial high-rise buildings, hospitality, healthcare, and industrial facilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain discipline-specific Revit models.
• Produce coordinated shop drawings and quantity take-offs.
• Review engineering drawings, schematics, and single-line diagrams.
• Participate in BIM coordination, clash detection, and constructability reviews.
• Ensure BIM models comply with project and company standards.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to resolve technical issues.
• Support digital engineering and modular construction initiatives.

Requirements

• South African nationality (Mandatory).
• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Building Services, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 2+ years of experience in MEP contracting projects.
• Strong hands-on experience using Autodesk Revit.
• Experience with BIM coordination, clash detection, and shop drawing production.
• Good understanding of MEP systems and engineering drawings.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred

• Experience working on Data Centres, Commercial High-Rise, Hospitality, Healthcare, or Industrial projects.
• UAE/GCC contractor experience.
• Knowledge of Navisworks, Dynamo, or BIM certifications is an advantage
