AI First Software Developer (Vibe Coder)
Auxilium
Description
About Auxilium
Auxilium is building the next generation of HR, Employer of Record (EOR), and payroll technology for the GCC. At the heart of this vision is Nexus , our proprietary platform that manages employee onboarding and offboarding, payroll processing, workforce administration, compliance workflows, and the complete EOR lifecycle.
We believe the future of software development is AI-assisted, agent-driven, and product-focused. We are building a small, high-performing technology team that leverages AI as a force multiplier to move faster, build smarter, and create exceptional products.
We are looking for an AI First Developer who embraces modern AI-powered development practices and can help accelerate Nexus into the leading workforce operations platform in the region.
Job Purpose
The AI First Developer will play a key role in designing, developing, maintaining, and scaling Nexus. As one of the core members of a small technology team, you will work across the entire technology stack, owning features from concept through deployment and support.
This role combines software engineering, product thinking, automation, AI-assisted development, systems integration, and operational problem-solving. You will be expected to leverage AI coding tools as part of your daily workflow while maintaining strong engineering judgment and accountability for quality, security, and performance.
The successful candidate will help build scalable systems, automate operational workflows, integrate external platforms, and contribute to the development of AI-driven and agentic capabilities across the business.
You’ll join a tight-knit technology team as an experienced AI software developer — someone who can
move between product thinking, hands-on development, and infrastructure without losing
momentum. You’ll work directly on Nexus, our proprietary system of record for EOR, HR,
and payroll processing across the GCC, and contribute to new products, agentic workflows,
and platform and business unit initiatives as the business grows. As only the second developer on the team, you’ll be getting in early — with all the scope for growth and influence that brings as we
scale.
This is a broad role by design. On any given day you might be shipping a new Nexus
feature, triaging a bug from the operations team, contributing to an agentic automation
pipeline, or sitting down with a business stakeholder to map out a new requirement. That
breadth is the point — and it’s what makes this role interesting.
We want to bring genuinely innovative features to the workforce, design systems that
shape the future of work, and build something our clients and employees don’t just use,
but love. We believe technology is how a company like ours wins — and the tech team sits
right at the centre of that ambition.
That’s why entrepreneurial ambition matters so much to us. We want someone who shares
that drive — who wants to build something that lasts, who gets energy from solving hard
problems, and who wants to look back in a few years and point at a category-leading
platform they helped create. If you’re ambitious about what you build and where it can go,
you’ll be in good company.
