Agentic AI/Software Engineer | VC-Backed Stealth AI Start Up | Berlin

A start-up in Berlin which is backed by one of the most successful VCs in Europe are looking for a strong AI Software Engineer. This is a great time to join because they are in a position to scale fast as they now look to seek investment from the right Angel Investors.

They specialize in building & shipping enterprise-grade Agentic AI solutions to large corporates across Germany - in Public Healthcare, Hospitality & Manufacturing.

The Role:

• Build & deploy full‑stack applications that interface with multimodal & agentic AI systems
• Design and implement autonomous agent workflows, tools, & orchestration layers
• Create scalable backend services and APIs powering enterprise‑grade Agentic AI features
• Integrate LLMs, vector databases, retrieval pipelines, memory systems, & tool‑calling frameworks
• Collaborate closely with founders to prototype, iterate, & ship solutions at high velocity
• Engineer robust evaluation pipelines & safeguards for complex agent behavior
• Contribute to architecture decisions & help shape the early engineering culture

The Candidate:

• Strong full‑stack development skills (e.g., TypeScript, Python, React/Next.js, Node.js, etc.)
• Hands-on experience building with LLMs, RAG pipelines, agent frameworks, or autonomous AI systems
• Solid backend engineering fundamentals (APIs, distributed systems, databases)
• Familiarity with vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate, Chroma etc.) and LLM tooling (LangChain, OpenAI API, custom tool calling)
• A builder mindset: resourceful, curious, pragmatic, and not afraid to push boundaries
