Business Analyst – Trade Repository Reporting (MAS / EMIR) - Contract opportunity

Our client is looking for an experienced Business Analyst to support Trade Repository (TR) Reporting initiatives, focusing on MAS and EMIR regulatory reporting. You will work closely with Operations, IT, Data, Compliance, and external vendors to deliver regulatory reporting enhancements, data remediation, and process improvements.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather, analyse, and document business and data requirements for Trade Repository reporting.
• Analyse end-to-end trade reporting processes, including trade capture, enrichment, submission, reconciliation, and exception management.
• Perform data analysis and reconciliations to identify and resolve reporting discrepancies.
• Support regulatory remediation, UAT, testing, and change initiatives.
• Prepare process documentation, SOPs, and audit-ready artefacts.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external service providers to deliver reporting enhancements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.
• 5+ years' experience in Operations within Asset Management or Financial Services .
• Hands-on experience in Trade Repository (TR) Reporting , Regulatory Reporting , or Post-Trade Operations .
• Good understanding of MAS and/or EMIR reporting requirements.
• Experience with investment platforms such as Aladdin , Multifonds , or similar.
• Strong data analysis, reconciliation, and UAT experience.
• Excellent analytical, documentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
