Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the end-to-end supplier engagement lifecycle, ensuring engagements align with organisational priorities, strategic technology roadmaps, and business objectives.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with strategic suppliers, technology partners, and OEMs, serving as the primary interface for executive-level engagements and partnership discussions.
• Engage with supplier leadership teams, including Director and C-suite stakeholders, to understand their business strategies, technology offerings, innovation roadmaps, and value propositions.
• Assess and identify key suppliers, industry frontrunners, and emerging technology players for strategic engagement opportunities, ensuring leadership is well-prepared with relevant insights and briefing materials.
• Prepare executive-ready briefing papers, market assessments, management submissions, and stakeholder communications to support informed decision-making and meaningful supplier discussions.
• Build a deep understanding of the technology ecosystem, including the roles and interdependencies of OEMs, system integrators, cloud providers, and technology partners, to identify collaboration opportunities and industry trends.
• Monitor supplier performance, engagement outcomes, and partnership effectiveness, translating data into actionable insights and recommendations for leadership reporting.
• Conduct market intelligence and industry research on ICT trends, emerging technologies, supplier landscapes, and competitive developments to support strategic planning and supplier engagement strategies.
• Stay informed of relevant regulatory, compliance, and governance requirements impacting technology suppliers and digital ecosystem partnerships, ensuring engagements are conducted in accordance with organisational policies.
• Coordinate cross-functional stakeholders, including technical, procurement, business, and governance teams, to drive successful supplier engagement initiatives and organisational outcomes.

Preferred Experience & Competencies

• Strong experience in supplier relationship management, strategic partnerships, vendor management, or technology ecosystem engagement.
• Good understanding of the ICT industry landscape, including OEMs, cloud providers, technology vendors, system integrators, and digital solution providers.
• Proven ability to engage and influence senior supplier stakeholders, including Director-level and executive leadership teams.
• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to assess supplier capabilities, market positioning, and strategic fit.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to prepare high-quality executive briefings and presentations.
• Familiarity with technology governance, compliance requirements, and regulatory considerations within the ICT sector.
• Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex information into strategic insights and recommendations.
