Logistics Executive (Management Trainee)

Job Description

• Coordinate and monitor supply chain operations including transportation, warehousing (which includes planning, receiving, storage, and issuing), and inventory management.
• Liaise with project and operations team, suppliers and freight forwarders to ensure timely delivery of equipment and materials.
• Handle end user inquiries related to delivery schedules and logistics issues.
• Assist to prepare and process shipping documents for customs declarations.
• Coordinate with project team and quality assurance team for joint inspection of equipment and materials
• Monitor and follow up on joint inspection punch list clearance.
• Track shipments and resolve any issues related to delays, damages, or discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate records of logistics activities and generate regular reports.
• Regular monitoring to manage inventory stock levels and replenishment.
• Maintain proper storage conditions for equipment and hazardous materials.
• Support and maintain documentation for audits and to conduct risk assessments.

Job Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
• Proficient in warehouse management system and Microsoft Office applications.
• Familiarity with inventory management software or ERP systems (e.g. SAP).
• Good organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
• Experience in logistics or supply chain operations is an advantage.

Working Hours Monday – Thursday: 8:00am – 5.15pm

Friday: 8:00am – 4.30pm
