For our laundry facility in Nieuwegein, we are looking for an Assistant Production Team Leader. In this role, you will work closely with Max and Rens and support them in the daily coordination of production. Together, you ensure that processes run efficiently, quality remains guaranteed, and employees can enjoy their work.

De functie

As an Assistant Production Team Leader, you will work in our laundry facility, which operates 3 washing lines and 12 dryers. You ensure that the washing and drying processes run smoothly. You actively participate in the work and support the team leader with daily coordination and planning. You maintain oversight on the production floor and assist the team whenever needed. This includes the following tasks:

  • Participating in washing and drying processes
  • Contributing to daily planning and progress
  • Reassigning colleagues during busy periods
  • Checking machines and process settings
  • Solving minor technical issues
  • Maintaining a safe and clean workspace

Jouw profiel

You don’t need to know everything already. What we find most important is that you’re eager to roll up your sleeves, can maintain oversight, and are able to support and guide colleagues in a positive way.

In addition, you recognize yourself in the following:

  • You have leadership experience in a production environment or a similar work setting
  • You speak and understand English well (Dutch is a plus, but not required)
  • You enjoy coaching colleagues and being a point of contact on the work floor
  • You stay calm and think in solutions, even when things get busy

  • An attractive salary between €2,800 and €3,200 gross per month based on a 36‑hour workweek, depending on your knowledge, experience, and development.
  • On top of that, you receive 8.33% holiday allowance and a year‑end bonus of 5.33%, giving you a substantial extra reward on an annual basis.
  • You mainly work early daytime shifts, which means your evenings and weekends are free. Only around public holidays may occasional Saturday work be required.
  • A direct contract with Elis, with the intention to grow into a permanent position upon good performance. We are happy to invest in employees who want to be part of our team for the long term.
  • Travel allowance according to the collective labor agreement.
  • 25 vacation days based on a full‑time contract, ensuring plenty of time for rest and leisure.
  • A solid pension scheme through MITT, with Elis covering about two‑thirds of the contribution. This means you keep more net income while building a strong pension.
