Job description

Type - 12 Months Contract

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILTIES

  • Manage and develop strong relationships with third-party IT vendors, acting as the primary point of contact.
  • Analyze and validate business requirements, supporting their translation into clear technical specifications.
  • Ensure that all technical changes and implementations adhere to security, data quality, functional, and performance standards.
  • Provide governance and oversight to ensure third-party vendors meet contractual and service level agreements.
  • Act as a point of escalation for resolving technical or contractual issues with vendors promptly and effectively.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand evolving business needs and translate these into vendor deliverables.
  • Conduct regular reviews and audits of vendor performance, providing feedback and driving continuous improvement.
  • Support the validation and testing of vendor solutions prior to deployment, ensuring compliance with standards.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of vendor arrangements, technical requirements, and governance activities.
  • Stay informed of industry best practices and regulatory requirements to ensure vendor compliance and risk mitigation.

KEY INTERFACES

  • Internal business units and project teams to gather requirements and communicate technical updates.
  • Third-party IT vendors to oversee delivery, resolve issues, and enforce compliance.
  • Information Security and Data Governance teams to ensure standards are maintained.
  • Legal and Contract Management teams to review and manage vendor contracts and SLAs.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Strong technical background with experience in IT service management, vendor management, or related fields.
  • Proven ability to analyze complex business requirements and articulate them into technical terms.
  • Experience in managing third-party vendors within regulated environments, preferably within healthcare or insurance sectors.
  • Knowledge of security standards, data quality principles, and performance management in IT projects.
