About Company:
Our client is a well-established multinational company in the logistics and supply chain industry with a strong presence across Asia and other global markets.
Job Description:
- Manage sales and corporate functions in Singapore to achieve operational excellence and drive measurable business growth
- Develop and execute customized business and sales strategies for logistics services to increase revenue and expand market share
- Oversee full P&L responsibilities including budgeting, financial planning, and performance monitoring to meet profitability targets
- Lead and coordinate multiple departments to foster collaboration and enhance team performance
- Align strategies and report business progress accurately by coordinating with Japan Headquarters and overseas offices
- Drive operational improvements by implementing digitalization and IT initiatives to increase efficiency and competitiveness
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, governance standards, and local regulations to mitigate operational risks
- Required competencies and certifications
- Other ad hoc duties/projects as assigned by the company
Job Requirements:
- At least 9 - 10 years of experience in the logistics or freight forwarding industry
- Experience within the Japanese company environment is preferred
- Proven management experience covering both sales and corporate functions to deliver measurable business results
- Regional experience, including Singapore, SEA or other overseas market to oversee cross-border operations, market dynamics and to navigate diverse business environments
- Business-level proficiency in Japanese language to facilitate communication with Japanese stakeholders
- Knowledge of IT systems, digital transformation (DX) initiatives, or business process improvement to support innovation
- Strong leadership, decision-making, and execution skills to guide teams and implement strategies effectively
Compensation:
- Work location: Central, Singapore
- Working hours: Monday to Friday 8:30am - 5:30pm
- Annual Performance Bonus (subject to individual and company's performance)
