About this role

As a Consolidation Specialist within our Group Control team, you will lead the end-to-end monthly closing process for our global entities. Working side-by-side with Group Reporting, you will deliver accurate financial statements while caring for the integrity of our data. This is an opportunity to aim high in a complex reporting environment, driving excellence through technical expertise in foreign currency and equity adjustments. You will play a vital role in ensuring we remain compliant while supporting our global market stakeholders.

**Location:**Amsterdam, Netherlands.

These are some of the key components to the position:

• Manage the end-to-end global consolidation process, ensuring all financial data is captured timely and accurately.
• Oversee the translation of foreign subsidiary financial statements and calculate cumulative translation adjustments.
• Prepare consolidated balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements for management and external stakeholders.
• Act as the primary point of contact for external auditors and global stakeholders regarding consolidation queries.
• Ensure all consolidation activities strictly adhere to Internal Controls to maintain financial accuracy and compliance.
• Collaborate with financial systems teams to design and optimize processes within our consolidation software.

What will you bring to the team?

• Professional qualification such as Registered Accountant (RA), Certified Public Accountant (CPA), or Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA).
• Strong understanding of complex accounting topics, including equity method accounting and consolidated statements of cash flows.
• Proficiency in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems and consolidation tools like Workday, OneStream, or Hyperion.
• Advanced Excel capabilities combined with a high attention to detail and a solution-oriented mindset.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate clearly with senior stakeholders.
• Proactive approach to continuous improvement and the ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
