SOC Engineer (Security Operations Center / Data Center)

SOC Engineer to join our Data Center Security Operations team in Frankfurt, Germany.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security events, alerts, and incidents through SIEM and security monitoring platforms.
• Perform security event analysis, investigation, triage, and incident response.
• Analyze system, network, and application logs to identify security threats and abnormal activities.
• Coordinate with IT Operations, Network, and Infrastructure teams to investigate and resolve security incidents.
• Perform vulnerability tracking, risk assessment, and remediation follow-up.
• Execute security operation procedures (SOPs) and incident response processes.
• Support security audits, compliance activities, and documentation.
• Prepare incident reports, root cause analysis, and security improvement recommendations.
• Participate in 24×7 shift rotation when required.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or above in Cyber Security, Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
• 1+ years of SOC, Cyber Security, or Security Operations experience.
• Familiar with SIEM platforms, log analysis, and security monitoring tools.
• Good understanding of Windows/Linux operating systems, TCP/IP networking, firewalls, DNS, VPN, and common network protocols.
• Experience in incident response, malware analysis, threat detection, or vulnerability management.
• Familiar with security frameworks and standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, or CIS.
• Experience in Data Center or Cloud environments is preferred.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Good Chinese communication skills
