Job description

• Quality Assurance & Control

o Develop, implement, and maintain QA/QC procedures in line with project specifications, LTA standards, and international best practices.

o Conduct inspections and audits of design documents, installation works, and testing activities.

o Ensure compliance with safety regulations, operational requirements, and contractual obligations.

• Documentation & Reporting

o Prepare QA/QC reports, non-conformance reports (NCRs), and corrective action plans.

o Maintain accurate records of inspections, approvals, and test results.

o Support submission of quality-related documentation to LTA and SMRT for review and approval.

• Technical Oversight

o Work with the system design engineer to verify vendor product compliance and ensure proper evaluation of multiple system options (PABX, PA, Clock, BFS/IDS, PIS, VSS, etc).

o Work closely with the project and engineering teams to review technical drawings, method statements, and installation procedures for accuracy and completeness.

o Oversee site surveys and ensure findings are incorporated into design and installation plans.

  • Coordination & Stakeholder Engagement

o Liaise with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and Railway communication system representatives to resolve quality issues.

o Participate in joint inspections and approval processes with authorities.

o Ensure timely communication of quality concerns and corrective measures.

• Testing & Commissioning

o Supervise system migration, integration, and commissioning activities to

ensure compliance with performance standards.

o Validate test procedures and witness system performance tests.

o Ensure decommissioning activities are carried out safely and in

compliance with engineering hour restrictions.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Telecommunications, or related discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years of QA/QC experience in railway communication systems transportation infrastructure, or large-scale engineering projects.
  • Strong knowledge of LTA/SMRT/SBST standards, safety regulations, and quality management systems (ISO 9001).
  • Experience with communication systems such as PABX, PA, Clock, BFS/IDS, VSS and PIS is preferred.
  • Proficiency in reviewing CAD drawings, technical documentation, and method statements.
