Be part of a team where your work safeguards lives and powers progress. We are seeking to hire in Geneva a dynamic and motivated Mechanical R&D Engineer.

Main tasks:* Design standardized safety-critical electro-mechanical products, including upgrades and adaptations to meet specific customer requirements.

  • Identify and develop optimized solutions aligned with current technologies across the entire product lifecycle.
  • Contribute to technical decisions regarding specifications and characteristics of standard and customized products.
  • Apply Design-to-Cost and Design-for-Manufacturing principles.
  • Use advanced engineering tools and software to optimize product development.
  • Support validation activities: participate in prototype assembly, testing and compliance verification.
  • Collaborate with Methods and Production to improve product quality and industrial performance.

Requirements

  • Master’s in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in safety-critical electro-mechanical product design or a similar field.
  • Proven experience in product development and its lifecycle.
  • Professional proficiency in English (all written communication is conducted in English).
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work in a cross-functional and international environment.
