• Good understanding of star schema and dimensional data modeling.
• Experience collaborating with Data Engineers to develop curated datasets using dbt and Medallion Architecture.
• Knowledge of data quality validation, reconciliation, issue investigation, and root cause analysis.
• Experience working with both modern cloud-based data platforms and legacy databases such as Microsoft SQL Server.
• Proficiency with GitHub, including source control, branching, pull requests, code reviews, and GitHub Flow.
• Experience documenting datasets, business logic, report definitions, and technical processes using Confluence.
• Familiarity with Jira for managing work items, user stories, and sprint activities.
• Experience working in Agile teams, participating in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Proficiency with VS Code or similar development environments.
• Ability to gather business requirements and translate them into effective reporting and analytics solutions.
• Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Proven experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar analytical role.
• Strong SQL expertise.
• Hands-on experience with Google BigQuery or a comparable cloud data warehouse.
• Experience with Power BI dashboard and report development.
• Working knowledge of dbt and modern data transformation practices.
• Understanding of Medallion Architecture and layered data platform design.
• Experience using GitHub for version control and collaborative development.
• Familiarity with Microsoft SQL Server or similar relational database platforms.
• Experience working within Agile delivery environments.
• Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, and VS Code.
• Strong analytical, communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
