The role

As anIT Operations Coordinator (Dutch Speaking), you will keep things running smoothly, and make sure everyone has the tech they need to do their best work. If you love being the go-to person when something breaks (and the one who prevents it from breaking in the first place), this might be your spot.

You will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing GoSpooky’s IT infrastructure, ensuring smooth and secure daily operations. You will oversee all software, hardware, and tooling, proactively managing security, GDPR and ISO compliance, and IT-related office matters. While the initial focus will be on first-line support, we're growing and anticipate that responsibilities will expand as we develop

This role requires a hands-on, solution-oriented approach to support Spookies effectively while continuously improving IT processes.

You will work 32 hours per week, primarily on-site in Amsterdam.

What you’ll do

You will be the tech backbone of GoSpooky keeping our IT infrastructure secure, efficient, and always improving (preventing interference or downtime).

The responsibilities will diversify, from hands-on first-line support to giving advice about IT contracts. Tasks will include:

• Manage all our software, hardware, and tools (think: Google Workspace, Slack, Productive, Bamboo, and more)
• Help onboard new Spookies, ensuring they're set up for success from day one
• Stay on top of security, implementing GDPR and ISO compliance (we know, not the most glamorous part, but super important!)
• Advise on new tech purchases and keep our asset registration on point
• Handle IT-related office stuff - desk setup, facility needs, you name it
• Work with vendors and external parties when needed
• Spot opportunities to make our systems better, faster, and more secure

Note: As part of our hiring process, the final candidate will need to provide a Certificate of Conduct (Verklaring Omtrent het Gedrag or VOG) due to the nature of the role.

What we're looking for:

• HBO degree in IT and 2-6 years of hands-on experience in a similar role
• Know your way around Mac and Google products like the back of your hand
• Fluent in both English and Dutch
• Proactive, you see problems before they happen and can't wait to solve them
• Can work solo but love jumping in to help the team when they need support
• Find security and efficiency their jam
• Service-minded and focused on helping others

Nice to have:

• Experience with facility management or the media industry
• An eye for innovation and making things work smarter, not harder
