About the Role

As a Principal Consultant, you will lead multiple client projects (2-4), taking primary responsibility for complex engagements that involve multiple senior stakeholders and large teams. You will ensure the highest quality of work and deliverables across the projects you oversee. Clients will view you as a trusted business advisor, particularly in senior management discussions. Additionally, you will take ownership of select accounts, carrying revenue quota responsibility. A key aspect of your role will be mentoring and coaching junior consultants, fostering their growth and development.

Responsibilities

  • Analytical Skills - Specialise in 2-3 areas of functional skills and be able to position oneself as an internal expert/specialist in specific skill areas. Provide inputs on improving existing project delivery tools and frameworks. Create approaches and frameworks for client projects and acts as a guide to team members. Good at developing ideas based on data gathered. Capability and skills in conducting thorough quality assurance of outcomes for deliverables. Strong understanding of Growth Pipeline Engine framework and able to leverage on GPE for project delivery. Support facilitation of Growth Pipeline Dialogs.
  • Public Speaking & Executive Presentations– Act as a visible thought leader for the Practice Area by delivering high‑impact presentations, keynote talks, and executive briefings at client workshops, industry conferences, webinars, and internal forums. Confidently represent Frost & Sullivan’s insights, frameworks, and Growth Pipeline methodologies to senior audiences, translating complex analysis into compelling, actionable narratives that influence strategic decision‑making.
  • Interpersonal Skills - Show strong results focus. Experienced in managing large, complex and pressured projects. Able to facilitate at any level, active in building consensus during projects. Take intellectual lead in client work sessions. Able to plan a portfolio of projects and ensure timely delivery. Able to communicate with the client on any unforeseen delays and create buy-in from the client. Able to develop and articulate presentation storylines rapidly "thinking on your feet". Strong attention to analysis logic & details at critical steps of the project. Strong presentation skills and able to clearly articulate value/insights succinctly. Delivery of strategic high impact briefings and presentations.
  • Client Handling Skills - Top-Down Business Development abilities. Used to animating BD meetings at senior-management level. Good demonstrated selling skills. Good relationship building ability at all levels of an organisation. Able to demonstrate Growth Pipeline and Coaching skills through interactions with clients.
  • Corporate Development - Strong understanding of our value proposition and product offering. Able to propose and facilitate development of new GPAD initiatives for improvement. Collaborate with marketing to share Thought Leadership content for Practice Area. Act as panellist, paid speaking events. Clearly articulate GPaaS's unique value proposition.

Required Competencies

The ideal candidate will have a strong educational foundation in business, economics, engineering or technology, coupled with a passion for solving complex problems and creating actionable insights for clients.

This role requires someone who is curious, methodical, and able to think strategically—connecting dots between data, industry trends, and business impact. Strong client-handling skills, including communication, adaptability, and credibility in stakeholder interactions, are critical.

  • A relevant university degree (BA, BS) in Economics, Engineering, or technology. A postgraduate degree (Master’s or PhD) is highly regarded and considered an advantage
