Job Description

  • Coordinates the efficient movement of materials with purchasing, production and engineering through the production cycle

  • Ensures non-conformances or variances are approved and/ or minimized.

  • Track shortages and run shortage meetings with procurement team. Identifying critical part shortages that will jeopardize ship schedule

  • Responsible for maintaining bill of materials, ensuring bill of material supports efficient material flow and is aligned with assembly process

  • Understands and maintains critical path of BOMs in area of responsibility and drives engineering to maintain BOM alignment to manufacturing process

  • Understands manufacturing capacity and allocate as required to meet build plan commitments

  • Identify and resolve problems relating cycle count variances

  • Attend production meeting as well as Ship rev meetings etc

  • Collaborate with key partners (purchasing and engineering) to ensure Engineering Change Orders are communicated and implemented in manufacturing in an efficient and timely way

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Level Degree and related work experience of 2 years

  • Proficient in Excel, Data analysis, ERP system; preferable SAP.

  • Detail oriented, process driven, highly collaborative, committed to accuracy.

  • Ability to manage priorities and work in a fast-paced technical manufacturing environment.

  • Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement principles
