The role is for an actuarial and product support analyst for ReMetrica, Aon’s stochastic modeling platform for the insurance industry.

The successful candidate is expected to:* Become an expert user of ReMetrica

• Support existing and prospective clients and users of ReMetrica by conducting training workshops and providing technical support via emails and calls
• Assist in internal testing of new features of ReMetrica
• Assist in presales demonstrations and presentations
• Assist in ReMetrica client consulting projects

Skills and experience that will lead to success

The successful candidate is required to have:* A bachelor’s degree or higher in a numerate discipline, e.g. mathematics or statistics, physical sciences, economics etc.

• Prior experience working in a general insurance or reinsurance actuarial, risk, product development or consulting role. Similar roles in adjacent industries such as technology, banking, finance and management consulting will be considered.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to learn independently and be proactive in addressing client issues as they arise.
• Programming skills in any major programming language at a level at least commensurate with writing VBA macros in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong communication skills as evidenced by prior experience working across multidisciplinary teams or by working in projects with multiple stakeholders.
• Occasional business travel is required in this role.

The following qualities are not required but will be considered favorably:* Existing experience with ReMetrica

• Client-facing consulting experience
• Part or full qualifications as an actuary of a recognized actuarial institute
• Software development or testing, and/or software presales experience
