Job description
We are looking for engineers (m/w) who want to build tools that matter - practical, reliable, and user-friendly solutions used by analysts in real operational contexts.
Our mission is to provide open-source intelligence (OSINT) capabilities that support situational awareness, and decision-making. We collect, analyse, and visualise data from publicly accessible information sources to serve both internal and external partners.
As a Full-Stack Engineer in our engineering team in Bern, you will design, build, and evolve the OSINT situational-map frontend. You will work across the full stack - from React/TypeScript frontend components to Python backend services and PostgreSQL data layers.
This role is hands-on: you will be responsible for delivering features end-to-end, ensuring they meet acceptance criteria, and adapting to the evolving needs of analysts in a multinational environment.

Your core mindset
- Strong problem-solving skills and a solution-oriented working style
- Ownership and accountability for delivering features end-to-end
- Flexibility - you expect requirements to evolve and adapt accordingly
- Strong team spirit and very good communication skills
- Willingness to work in classified or sensitive environments
Your technical experience
- Advanced frontend skills: React and TypeScript
- Python for general backend development
- PostgreSQL
- GitLab / GitHub with CI/CD pipelines
- Building containers and Kubernetes deployment
- Experience with authentication processes (Keycloak, RBAC)
- Extensive experience with agentic coding agents
You may be stronger in some areas than others - that's expected.
Your language skills
- Good English skills (B2 minimum)
- German or French is a plus
