Meet the Team
We are looking for a strategic and hands-on Demand Generation Manager to lead our Demand Generation team across Korea and Greater China.
This is an exciting opportunity to shape and scale a high-performing team responsible for driving pipeline growth across some of Splunk's most important growth markets. You will partner closely with Sales, Marketing, Channel, and Operations leaders to build a sustainable pipeline engine that accelerates business outcomes.
Beyond day-to-day management, we are seeking a leader who can develop effective go-to-market strategies, elevate outbound prospecting capabilities, improve conversion performance, and inspire a team to consistently deliver results. Your Impact
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of Demand Generation Representatives across Korea and Greater China, fostering a culture of accountability, execution excellence, and continuous improvement.
- Drive pipeline creation through a balanced approach of inbound lead management, outbound prospecting, account-based engagement, and strategic growth initiatives.
- Develop and execute scalable outbound strategies aligned to regional business priorities, helping the team proactively create opportunities beyond marketing-generated demand.
- Partner closely with Virtual Sales, Field Sales, Marketing, Renewal, Channel, and Operations teams to improve lead quality, pipeline velocity, conversion effectiveness, and overall business outcomes.
- Establish a closed-loop operating model with in-country stakeholders to ensure clear ownership, consistent follow-up, and measurable pipeline progression.
- Drive funnel excellence by monitoring key metrics across lead qualification, SAL generation, opportunity creation, pipeline progression, and closed-won contribution.
- Build country-specific pipeline strategies that ensure sustainable pipeline coverage and support both short-term execution and long-term business growth.
- Utilize data-driven insights to identify gaps, optimize resource allocation, and continuously improve campaign effectiveness and team productivity.
- Recruit, coach, and retain top talent while building a strong leadership bench for future organizational growth.
Minimum Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in Demand Generation, Business Development, Sales Development, Inside Sales, or Commercial Sales within enterprise software or technology organizations.
- 3+ years of people leadership experience, with a proven track record of hiring, developing, coaching, and retaining high-performing sales teams.
- Demonstrated success building and executing outbound prospecting strategies that generate measurable pipeline and business impact.
- Strong understanding of the full demand generation funnel, including lead qualification, pipeline creation, conversion management, and opportunity progression.
- Experience partnering with Virtual Sales, field sales, marketing, renewal, and operations organizations to drive alignment and business outcomes.
- Proven ability to use data, analytics, and business insights to make decisions and improve team performance.
- Experience working across multiple countries, cultures, or regional sales organizations.
- Strong executive presence, communication skills, and stakeholder management capabilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience leading Demand Generation or BDR teams supporting Enterprise, Commercial, or Strategic accounts.
- Strong understanding of pipeline management principles, conversion optimization, and sales funnel effectiveness.
- Experience designing and executing account-based or targeted outbound campaigns.
- Demonstrated ability to translate business priorities into actionable go-to-market strategies.
