Job Title: Senior Executive, Projects (2-year contract) University-Level Unit: Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine Faculty/Department-Level Unit: Dean's Office (Medicine) Employee Category: Executive & Administrative Posting Start Date: 14/01/2026 Location_ONB: Kent Ridge Campus Job Description

We’re looking for a detail-oriented Project Officer to support administrative finance, grants, agreements, and ethics coordination for Project RESET. You will help ensure smooth operations through careful budget tracking, timely submissions, and well-documented processes.

Key responsibilities:

Finance and grant management (70%)

  • Administer budgets, procurement, and grant processes to enable effective use of funds and smooth project operations

  • Maintain expenditure trackers, prepare simple forecasts, process purchases and claims, and compile quarterly submissions for subawardees

  • Monitor consumables/equipment to ensure adequacy and good condition

Project agreements and ethics approvals (20%)

  • Manage end-to-end project agreements (from document preparation to routing and signatures) with proper documentation and timely execution

  • Coordinate DSRB/IRB submissions and ensure applications are filed within deadlines

  • Liaise with stakeholders to progress agreements and approvals

Ad-hoc support (10%)

  • Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Project RESET team as needed

  • Assist with participant visits and other operational tasks

Qualifications

  • Degree in Biomedical Science or a related discipline, preferably with 4 years of experience in biomedical research, research administration, finance and operations

  • Excellent command of both spoken and written English

  • Self-directed individual with initiative, resourceful, analytical and problem-solving skills with strong project management skills

  • Team player with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to connect and engage at all levels

  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to set priorities and meet challenging deadlines

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders
