We’re looking for a detail-oriented Project Officer to support administrative finance, grants, agreements, and ethics coordination for Project RESET. You will help ensure smooth operations through careful budget tracking, timely submissions, and well-documented processes.
Key responsibilities:
Finance and grant management (70%)

Administer budgets, procurement, and grant processes to enable effective use of funds and smooth project operations

Maintain expenditure trackers, prepare simple forecasts, process purchases and claims, and compile quarterly submissions for subawardees

Monitor consumables/equipment to ensure adequacy and good condition
Project agreements and ethics approvals (20%)

Manage end-to-end project agreements (from document preparation to routing and signatures) with proper documentation and timely execution

Coordinate DSRB/IRB submissions and ensure applications are filed within deadlines

Liaise with stakeholders to progress agreements and approvals
Ad-hoc support (10%)

Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Project RESET team as needed

Assist with participant visits and other operational tasks
Qualifications
-
Degree in Biomedical Science or a related discipline, preferably with 4 years of experience in biomedical research, research administration, finance and operations

Excellent command of both spoken and written English

Self-directed individual with initiative, resourceful, analytical and problem-solving skills with strong project management skills

Team player with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to connect and engage at all levels

Excellent organizational skills and ability to set priorities and meet challenging deadlines

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders
