University Health Centre (UHC) set up under NUS, is a holistic healthcare provider for the NUS community. You will be part of a multi-disciplinary team under UHC to provide quality clinic and administrative supports, patient care related duties and excellent customer service to our stakeholders.

Duties & Responsibilities

1. Handle cashiering duties including accurate billing, daily collection reconciliation and preparation of reports.

2. Manage front counter operations including appointment scheduling, patient registration, medical check-up, patient assignment, etc.

3. Provide specialist clinic administrative support including following up on missed appointments, informing patients of appointment changes, and liaising with specialists on administrative and patient-related matters.

4. Answer telephone calls, manage enquiries, and route requests appropriately.

5. Maintain proper tracking, filing and retrieval of medical records and reports.

6. Submit insurance claims, monitor claim status, follow up on pending cases with insurer/TPA and reconcile insurer payments.

7. Ensure clinic and counter/reception area are always kept tidy and clean at all times.

8. Support other clinic operations and administrative duties, including ad-hoc projects and activities assigned by the management.

Qualifications

  • GCE "O" Level / ITE / Diploma Holders.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience, preferably in Healthcare setting will be advantageous
  • Strong passion to serve patients.
  • Possess excellent interpersonal skills and telephone etiquette.
  • Independent, meticulous and good team player.
  • Proactive and able to work independently.
  • Basic Microsoft Office skills.
  • Good command of written and spoken English and Mandarin.
