The Opportunity As part of the Finance & Accounts team, reporting to the Manager – Finance & Accounts, you will be part of the team responsible for accounting, financial controllership and statutory/tax reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and perform month-end / year end financial closing activities, including

• Review of monthly sales transactions and reconciliation

• Review monthly financial statements, analysing and investigating unusual variances / trends

• Review / prepare key balance sheet account reconciliations

• Preparation of group / statutory reporting materials including

• Consolidation Package to Group Finance

• Tax Reporting Package to Group Tax

• Quarterly GST reports to IRAS

• XBRL filing of audited financial statements with ACRA

• Statistical returns with regulatory bodies

• Provide advice accounting support and tax advice to Sales / Operations team

• Identify process improvement opportunities and partner stakeholders for implementation

• Plan and co-ordinate vehicles and parts stock take.

• Approve staff e-journal, review recons and provide guidance to staff

• Review and update Transfer Pricing documentation

• Participate in new system implementation and business initiatives

• Ad-hoc duties and projects as assigned by the Manager.

Job Requirements

• Degree in Accountancy or accountancy professional qualification with at least 4 years of relevant experience with some experience in a supervisory role.

• Proficiency in MS office and experience with accounting software.

• Meticulous, organized, process driven, a self-starter and able to work independently to meet deadlines.

• Enjoys working in a high-energy and performance driven environment.

• Ability to handle ambiguity and confidentiality.

• A team player with good interpersonal and communication skills.
