Senior Accountant

• Full-Scale Accounting Management: Responsible for handling the company's complete set of accounts, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger, and ensuring the smooth completion of month-end and year-end closing processes.

• Financial Reporting and Analysis: Prepare monthly and annual financial and management reports, analyze and interpret financial results, and provide data support for management decision-making.

• Tax Compliance: This is a key responsibility, involving the registration, declaration, and verification of Singapore's Goods and Services Tax (GST), ensuring the company fully complies with the Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore's (IRAS) compliance requirements.

• Internal and External Coordination: Act as a liaison, maintaining communication with external auditors, tax agents, banks, and other institutions, and assisting in handling internal and external audit requests.

• Process and System Optimization: Participate in financial process improvement and internal control, typically requiring proficiency in accounting software (such as Xero), and may even involve involvement in ad-hoc finance-related projects and system deployments.

• Education and Experience: A diploma or degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is required. Employers generally require at least 5 years of experience in full-scale accounting.

• Professional Skills: Proficient in Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS) and possesses in-depth knowledge of Singapore company law and taxation. Familiarity with accounting software (such as Xero) is a common plus.

• Personal Qualities: Detail-oriented, able to work independently under pressure and tight deadlines, and possesses excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Pay: $8,000.00 - $10,000.00 per month
