Maternity leave cover

28-32 hours per week – Amsterdam

Love Stories is known for its playful mix-and-match lingerie, designed by women for women. Founded in Amsterdam, the brand breaks the rules in favor of self-expression, confidence, and personal style. This spirit now extends to Whateverwear: a one-way ticket to fashion freedom.

About the role

This is a temporary position to cover maternity leave, preferably starting from August 2026 for approximately 6–8 months. We are looking for a hands-on, proactive Operations Manager who can quickly take ownership of our day-to-day operations and become fully effective with minimal onboarding, safeguarding business continuity throughout the cover period. Previous experience in interim or maternity-cover assignments is a strong advantage.

As Operations Manager at Love Stories, you act as the central link between our Warehouse and Headquarters and as the internal owner of our operational processes. You make sure that orders, pricing, and product data flow accurately and on time across all channels, while leading and supporting our Sales Support team. We are currently in the middle of an ERP migration, so this role is a strong fit for someone who is comfortable keeping operations running smoothly within a changing systems landscape.

Description of the tasks:

Operational process ownership and improvement

Serve as contact person between Warehouse and Headquarters regarding operational processes and their execution and follow-up;

Act as the internal operational process manager and implementation specialist to ensure that the channel process is carried out as efficiently and carefully as possible from an internal point of view;

Mapping, recording, supervising and improving operational processes;

Participate in projects related to operations which are driving development;

Planning, pricing, and data integrity

Coordinate operational activities in line with the seasonal calendar, ensuring timely execution

Manage the implementation of pricing strategies and price lists, ensuring accurate pricing across all sales channels in close collaboration with the Finance team;

Take responsibility for the consolidation of seasonal orders in close collaboration with the Merchandise team;

Responsible for accuracy of operational and product-related data across relevant systems;

Review and validate monthly warehouse and logistics invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with agreements.

Team leadership and cross-functional collaboration

Lead and coach the Sales Support team, supporting their day-to-day performance;

Maintain close alignment with key stakeholders, including Inbound, Merchandise and the logistic warehouse to ensure the right products are available and delivered at the right time.

What we ask

Fluent in English, both written and spoken. Dutch is a plus;

5+ years of experience in operations, supply chain, or operational process management, ideally within retail, fashion or e-commerce;

A proven ability to become productive quickly with minimal onboarding, ideally supported by previous experience in interim or maternity-cover assignments;

A proactive, hands-on mentality and strong ownership of end-to-end operational processes;

Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with a sharp eye for data accuracy and process improvement;

Experience coordinating operational processes and managing multiple stakeholders across teams;

Experience leading or coaching a small team is a plus;

Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central;

Experience with ERP implementations or migration projects is a strong advantage;

Available 28-32 hours per week from August 2026.
