What You Will Do
You will:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities through active prospecting and direct customer engagement
- Manage and grow key customer relationships while maintaining a strong focus on commercial results and customer satisfaction
- Prepare, present, and follow up on proposals and quotations tailored to customer requirements
- Act as a trusted commercial advisor by understanding customer needs and recommending appropriate navigation and communication solutions
- Take ownership of customer and warranty cases, ensuring timely follow-up and effective resolution in collaboration with internal stakeholders
- Collaborate with sales support, technical, and operations teams to ensure successful delivery of solutions and services
- Achieve sales and profitability targets through effective pipeline management, negotiations, and opportunity follow-up
What does success look like?
Deliver Results
A person is successful in this role when they:
- Generate sustainable revenue growth within assigned CR1 accounts and regional maritime customers.
- Achieve agreed annual sales and gross margin targets through effective opportunity management and commercial execution.
- Increase customer engagement by maintaining regular customer visits, identifying upcoming projects and uncovering new sales opportunities.
- Improve quotation conversion rates through proactive follow-up and strong stakeholder management.
- Expand Radio Holland’s market position in the Dutch regional maritime sector by developing new customer relationships and increasing share of wallet within existing accounts.

What You Bring
Required
- Experience in business development, sales, account management, or a customer-facing commercial role
- Strong negotiation, presentation, and communication skills
- Ability to build and maintain long-term customer relationships and achieve commercial objectives
- Excellent command of Dutch and English, both written and spoken
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and CRM systems
- A self-motivated and results-oriented approach, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
Preferred
- Experience in the maritime, offshore, or related technical industry
- Familiarity with international trade and diverse business cultures
- Experience managing key accounts and developing strategic customer relationships
