We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as Senior Financial Services Accountant - Funds. Reporting to the Manager - Fund Services, this full-time and fixed term position is based in Amsterdam, Netherlands, and offers regional coverage, allowing you to make a significant impact to our Fund Services and its’ growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Preparation/Reviewing of bookkeeping (e.g. accruals, interest calculations, sales entries, movements in investments according to Dutch GAAP but also IFRS)

Preparing/Reviewing of periodic reports

Preparation/Reviewing of Financial Statements and assistance with statutory audits

Preparing/Reviewing Capital Account Statements and Net Asset Values (Investor reporting)

Reading/understanding Fund documents like Subscription documents, partnership agreements, and shareholder agreements for existing/new funds

Preparing/Reviewing capital call and distribution notices

Preparing/Reviewing waterfall and equalization workings

Coordinating and dealing with Fund investors on meeting investor’s specific reporting requirements

Reviewing investor requests and any ad hoc requests from client

Client contact and communication with our Centre of Excellence

Key Requirements:

Effective client-handling skills

Strong prioritizing ability and organizational skills

Analytical, meticulous, and systematic in approach to work

Possess 3-5 years of experience in audit / accounting fields in Venture Capital/Private Equity Fund industry.

Prior experience with another Fund Administrator or Fund Manager is preferred

Sound knowledge of Dutch GAAP and/or IFRS

Excellent command of the English language, both verbal and written

Adequate excel skills

Possess a bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Business Economics, Business Administration or equivalent;
